Radha Soami satsang is a religious organization that is guided by the spiritual teachers for teaching the path of spiritual development. The founder of the Radhasoami Matt was Pooran Puru Dhanu Huzur Swami Shiv Dayal Singh Seth and he was born on 24 August 1818 in Panni Gali, Agra, Uttar Pradesh. He has been engaged in the practice of shabad yog since childhood. On the basis of years of experience, he started Radha Swami Satsang on 15 February 1861. There are many beliefs behind naming this Radha Swami as Radha Swami, one is Radha Swami i.e. Lord Shri Krishna and the other is also said that the name of the Ardhangini of Shiva Dayal, the founder of this religion was also Radha. However, there is some doubt on this view. Anyway, everything is a matter of history. The key thing is that the Simran of Prabhu started from Agra in the name of Radha Swami. Guru Baba Shiva Dayal became the first of this opinion on 15 June 1878, after completing his worldly role, he became engaged in Prabhucharan.
11 years later, in 1889, his disciple Jaimal Singh, who retired from the army, came to Punjab and built a hut on the banks of the Beas river here and started giving names to the devotees. By 1903 he performed satsang in the name of Radha Swami. The number of devotees kept increasing. After all, Baba Jaimal Singh, born in 1839, also took leave from devotees at the age of 64, after which the satsang was commanded by his disciple Sawan Singh. Born on 27 July 1958, Sawan Singh also went to Swadham on 2 April 1948. After this, as the fourth Guru of Radha Soami Satsang Beas, Baba Jagat Singh, a disciple of Sawan Singh, took over the responsibility, which he could play only and only for 3 years. Radha Swami Satsang got divided into three different ideologies, being the throne of Baba Sawan Singh. Tara Chand, a disciple of Sawan Singh, started Radha Swami Satsang in Bhiwani, Haryana in 1925, but with a different name. Since then, a large religious institution in the name of Radha Swami Dinod has been operating in Bhiwani. After this, in 1948, where another disciple Kripal Singh started the Sawan Kirpal Mission in Delhi, on 2 April 1949, another disciple Bab Khemmal, who we also know as Baba Mastana Shah, of Sacha Sauda in Sirsa, Haryana Satsang was started in a small hut by name.
Radha Swami Satsang continues its journey in Beas, which Baba Jaimal Singh started here on the banks of the river Beas, despite three separate votes coming out. Baba Jagat Singh, born in July 1884, was also a disciple of Baba Sawan Singh. He continued the tradition of satsang after the demise of Baba Sawan Singh in 1951, but on 23 October 1951 he also completed his worldly role. After this, Baba Charan Singh continued to nominate devotees as the fifth Guru of this opinion till 1990. He was born on 12 December 1916 in Punjab in a Grewal family of Sikh faith. Born after 1990 in Moga after Baba Charan Singh, his nephew Gurinder Singh has not only continued this tradition, but has increased so much that whenever Radha Soami Satsang Beas’s name comes up in the country and the world, sheesh bowed adamantly. Crores of people are connected to this ideology.
