The true meaning of Panchakshara Stotra is the five sacred syllables Na, Ma, Śi, Vā, and Ya.
In Hinduism Lord Shiva is the main deity. Na, Ma, Śi, Vā, and Ya are the holy word used to worship Lord Shiva. In Hinduism, our body is assumed to be composed of five elements and they are represented by the five holy words used to worship Lord Shiva.
Na sanctifies Prithvi Tattva (Earth element), Ma represents Jal Tattva (Water factor), Si is Agni Tattva (Fire element) Va is Vayu Tattva (Air factor) and at last Ya consecrates Akasha Tattva (Space element).
In Panchakshara Stotra also known as Shiva stotra, Lord Shiva is praised for his great qualities in this stotra.
Chanting this stotra energizes the whole body and reciting it daily helps to build the confidence.
