We all know the story of holi. That is Legend of demon King Hiranyakashyap and his son Prahlad and sister Holika. But have you thought about any scientific reasons behind holi? Here are 5 Scientific reasons to celebrate Holi:
Reason 1: Holi is played in spring which in between winter and summer. Which is the period of growth bacteria in our body as well as in atmosphere? When we go round the bonfire {holi fire} the heat coming from bonfire can kill our body bacteria as well as atmospheric bacteria.
Reason 2: after Holiya Dayan people put ash on their forehead and also mix paste of sandal wood and flowers of the Mango tree. It is believed to promote good health and good skin.

Reason 4: the colors which we play in holi have a great impact on body. Doctors believe the liquid dye or Abeer penetrates the body and enters into the pores. It has the effect of strengthening the ions in the body and adds health and beauty to it.
Reason 5: To get physically fit and strong we need to exercise and movement of body and There is a physical movement while playing with colors this help of increasing oxygen consumption and increase our aerobic capacity and live longer.
