Various Akharas of sahus, saints and other common masses gather from all over the world to take a holy dip. Bathing in the waters of Sangam, that includes of the waters of the three holy rivers, the Ganges River and also the Yamuna and also the mystical Sarasvati at the holy city of Prayaga raj is believed to free an individual of all their sins.
