It is estimated that Hanuman ji was born 1 crore 85 lakh 58 thousand 112 years ago on Tuesday on Chaitra Purnima in the sum of Chitra Nakshatra and Aries Lagna at 6.03 am, in the country of India in the small name of Anjan of Gumla District of Jharkhand State in the hill at a cave. He is known as Bajrangbali because his body was like a thunderbolt. He is also known as the Pavan Puttr. Vayu or Pawan (god of wind) played an important role in raising Hanuman. 1- Despite being a Brahmachari, Hanumanji was the father of a son

You would be surprised to know that despite being a Brahmachari, Hanumanji was the father of a son. Hanuman’s son’s name was “Makardhwaj” and he was born with the belly of a fish. After burning the entire Lanka, dipped into the sea to cool their tails and their bodies, a fish swallowed the sweat coming out of their bodies. Later Makardhwaja was born from the same layer of fish.

2- Lord Rama pronounces death sentence against Hanumanji

Once upon Narada’s request, Hanuman welcomed all the saints except Vishwamitra, because Vishwamitra was also a king at some point. And he asked Lord Rama to give death penalty to Hanuman ji. Since Vishnamitra was Lord Rama’s guru, he could not defer his orders and showered Vayanas on Hanumanji. Seeing the Vayanas coming towards him, he started chanting the name Hanuman Rama, Due to which all the people returned. Seeing this, Lord Rama used Brahmastra, but Brahmastra also returned after meditating on the meditated Hanumanji. Seeing this, Lord Rama abandoned the idea of ​​death sentence to Hanumanji.

3- Hanuman and Bhima were both brothers

Hanumanji was born by the grace of Pawan Dev. But do you know that “Bhima” was also born by the grace of Pawan Dev? When Maharaja Pandu was living in the forest with his wife Kunti and Madri, then at the same time, Queen Kunti worshiped Pawan Dev with the desire to have a son, which resulted in the birth of “Bhima”. Thus both Hanuman and “Bhima” were brothers.

4- The reason why Hanuman was named “Bajrangbali”

Once upon seeing Goddess Sita planting vermilion, Hanumanji asked her “why does she apply vermilion”. To this, Devi Sita replied that “Since Shriram is her husband Therefore, I apply vermilion to wish him a long life. ”Hearing this, Hanumanji thought that if Goddess Sita applied a little vermilion, the age of Sriram can be prolonged, if I apply vermilion on the whole body, then the age of Shriram increases manifold. Thinking this, he put vermilion all over his body. Since vermilion is also called “Bajrang”, from that day onwards Hanumanji came to be called “Bajrangbali” and that is why whenever he is worshiped he is offered vermilion. 

5- Hanumanji had five brothers

You will be surprised to know that Hanumanji also had five brothers and he was married only. This mention is found in “Brahmanda Purana”. This Purana contains a description of Lord Hanuman’s father Kesari and his dynasty. It is mentioned in this Purana that Vanar Raj Kesari had 6 sons, the eldest son was “Hanumanji”. The names of the brothers of Hanumanji were Matiman, Shrutiman, Ketuman, Gatimaan and Dhritiman respectively and they all had children, which led to their dynasty for many years.

6- Pawanaputra Hanuman was an incarnation of Lord Shiva

Once the heavenly Apsara “Anjana” was cursed by a sage that when she loves someone, her face will become like a monkey. So she pleaded with Lord Brahma for help. He was born by the grace of Lord Brahma as a human being on earth. Later Anjana fell in love with Kesari, the king of the apes and they both got married. Anjana was an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva and pleased with her devotion, Lord Shiva gave her Granted the boon of being born as a son. A few days later, when King Dasaratha was performing the Putrotosh Yagna, after which the sage offered him a kheer to feed all his wives. Some of Rani Kaushalya’s Kheer part was taken away by an eagle. When that eagle was flying with Kheer, at the signal of Lord Shiva, Vayu Dev dropped some portion of that Kheer on the hands of Anjana meditating. Anjana gave it to Lord Shiva. Considered to have eaten Prasad, as a result of which Anjana gave birth to Pawan Putra Hanuman, who is an incarnation of Lord Shiva.
